Last Updated: January 1, 2026 • Valid for Global Operations

1. Our Commitment to Student Safety

BeyondGravity ("we", "our") is built on the principle that student data is a sacred trust. We do not sell student data to advertisers, colleges, or third parties. Our architecture is designed to comply with the strictest educational privacy standards globally, ensuring a safe environment for students to explore their future.

2. Compliance Standards

FERPA (US)

We act as a "School Official" with legitimate educational interests when partnering with US districts. All educational records are handled in strict accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (20 U.S.C. § 1232g).

COPPA (Children)

For users under 13, we require verifiable parental consent before collecting any personal information, in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. We minimize data collection to only what is necessary for the educational service.

GDPR (Europe)

For European users, we adhere to the General Data Protection Regulation. You have the right to data portability, object to processing, and lodge complaints with supervisory authorities.

3. Forensic Audit Logs & Security

Immutable Records: Unlike standard chatbots, Athena stores a "Forensic Log" of every interaction. This immutable record ensures accountability and allows for safety audits.

Bank-Grade Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Sensitive keys are encrypted using a separate vault mechanism.
